This event was created in memory of Honor, the service dog who started it all. She wasn’t just a dog—she was a lifeline, a partner, and proof that healing can come in ways we never expect. Because of her, Walking With Honor was born… and because of this mission, more veterans are finding their way back to themselves—one dog at a time.

Every day, veterans silently battle struggles most people will never fully see. PTSD. TBI. Anxiety. The weight of service that doesn’t disappear when the uniform comes off.

At the very same time, incredible dogs sit overlooked in shelters—waiting for someone to believe in them.

And everything changes.

At Walking With Honor, we rescue shelter dogs and train them to become life-changing service dogs for veterans at no cost to the veteran. Honor’s Legacy Bash brings that mission to life through community, connection, and purpose.
